lavonne-stoneServices to celebrate the life of Mrs. Lavonne Hall Stone, 75, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, at Cypress Baptist Church, Benton, officiated by Bro. Billy Pierce. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park in Monroe, at 2:30 p.m., officiated by Bro. Tommy Patten. Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday evening at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.

Lavonne was born in Comanche, Texas to the late Fred and Lois Hall, and passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016. She spent her life loving the Lord Jesus, her family, and her church. For many years she served as pianist at South Side Baptist Church and Cypress Baptist Church, worshiping with her God-given gift of music and song. She was a lovely woman who adored her children and grandchildren, and was loved by all her friends and church family.

Lavonne is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Lee Stone, and her parents. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Michael Stone and wife K.C. along with their children, Hallie-Stella and Jayden Roland Stone; Michelle Anderson and husband Ronald along with their children, Devin Anderson, Hailey Bolton and husband Eric, and Veronica Anderson; and Mark Stone and wife Dina along with their children, Travis, Brittany, Corey, and Tyler Stone; ten great-grandchildren; brother, Grady Earl Hall and wife Evelyn; and her dear friends of the Wednesday Night Cypress Ladies Group.
