LDWF to host Lake Bistineau meeting

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries will host a meeting Tuesday to allow the public to ask questions and address concerns regarding Lake Bistineau.

Set for 6:30 p.m., at the LDWF Region 1 Office, located at 9961 Highway 80 in Minden, the meeting will include the current status of the lake, along with a presentation on some of the issues facing Lake Bistineau.

LDWF staff will field questions concerning the management of the lake and giant salvinia.

Space is limited to 100 individuals, so please keep this in mind when making plans to attend.
