Chrome will shine and engines will roar as the 17th Annual Car & Bike Show, The Original Vintage Car Club Show & Shine, returns to historic downtown Minden on Saturday, September 13.
Sponsored by Webster Parish Tourism and Minden Main Street, the show is one of the city’s most anticipated fall traditions, drawing crowds of car enthusiasts and families alike. This year’s theme, Legends on Wheels: Chrome & Classic, celebrates the timeless beauty of vintage rides and the stories behind them.
From meticulously restored hot rods to motorcycles built for the open road, entries roll in from across the Ark-La-Tex, filling downtown streets with a wide variety of classic cars, trucks, and bikes. Alongside the gleaming vehicles, the event offers live entertainment, food vendors, and activities for all ages.
Organizers say the show features the largest trophy presentation in the region. Check-in begins at 7 AM, judging starts at 11 AM, and awards will be presented at 2 PM.
While the event celebrates the love of classic cars, it also gives back. A portion of proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, UCAP, and the NWLA Sickle Cell Association.
