Every student remembers one teacher that inspired or motivated them in the classroom. I truly believe that the teacher is my father, Mr. John Lee. He is the most genuine person that I know and would go above and beyond to help any student. Mr. Lee has been an educator for over fifty years, and his influence in the classroom has made him a legend. My mother and I have seen many occasions where students have approached him in public by saying, “Hey, it’s 1,2,3 Mr. Lee”. The students always have a smile on their face and sometimes run up to him to give him a hug. He is known to be the substitute teacher that everyone wants when the teacher is absent for the day. He has made such an impact that an Instagram page was created by the students named 123mr.lee_fanpage. On this page, the students take pictures with him either at school functions or public places. Because of his positive character and influence in the educational system, I have written a children’s book entitled “1,2,3 . . . It’s Mr. Lee!” to commemorate his career in teaching. The book is now available on Amazon and in bookstores like Barnes & Noble. I hope everyone will enjoy reading this story about this legendary teacher, Mr. Lee.
