NEW ORLEANS — The Louisiana High School Officials Association and the Louisiana High School Athletic Association have come to a tentative agreement over pay issues that arose in meetings between the two organizations in May.

Multiple news outlets report it is not known whether the officials received any increase for their pay schedule.

A tentative agreement designed to prevent a fall strike by the state’s high school officials came during an LHSOA executive meeting that lasted more than four hours Sunday.

The LHSOA is scheduled to have a meeting Wednesday to discuss the meetings’ events with its members throughout the state.
