Mrs. Louise Johnson Bradford, born August 16, 1948, was one of ten children born unto Mr. G. W. Johnson and Mrs. Hereasie Smith Johnson. On December 23, 1967, Louise married the love of her lifetime, Mr. Robert Lee Bradford, with whom she bore five children. Though Robert preceded her in death, Louise remained a devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter, cousin and friend throughout her lifetime.

Louise devoted her life to Christ at an early age and was a devoted member of the Living Word (Minden) Church at the time of her passing. She was also a member of the Webster Jr. High School class of ’66 and was well known for her loving spirit; her legendary cooking; and her unique ability to help those in need.

Mrs. Louise Johnson Bradford departed this earthly life on January 24th surrounded by her loving and devoted family. In addition to the passing of her parents, one child, and her beloved husband, Robert, Louise was also preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Alford (James); sisters in law, Lizzie B. Bradford, Lena Mae Jones (Will), Bertha Mae Jackson; her brother, G. W. Johnson, Jr; and her brothers in law, Tony Bradford (Clemmie) and Roy Jackson.

Louise leaves to cherish her memory her children: Sharon N. Bradford, Reshonda L. Bradford, Robert L. Bradford, Jr., and Benita Bradford Davis (Brandon); her beloved grandchildren: Darryl Moore, Jr., Alexis S. Bradford, Brianna K. Davis, Brandon K. Davis, Jr., Brooklynn K. Davis, and Londyn Finley Bradford; her siblings, Nona Kinsey (Golden), Jenene Solomon, Curtis Johnson (Marie), Wayne Johnson (Direne); her in-laws, Valine Nolen (Freddie), Willie James Bradford (Bertha Lee); Willie Jones; best friends, Vinne Mae Ginn and Gloria Haley, and a host of other beloved family and friends .

Homegoing Services for Mrs. Louise Johnson Bradford will be held Saturday, February 3, 2:00 p.m. at the Living Word Church of Minden with Pastor Trey Waller, officiating. Interment will follow at the Sibley Community Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 2nd in the chapel of Kennon’s Mortuary from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Services are entrusted to Kennon’s Mortuary. Email condolences may be sent to [email protected].
