The LSU AgCenter will host Hay Day on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Dodson Ranch, located at 582 Riverfront Road in Coushatta.
The event will begin at 8:00 AM with registration, coffee, and donuts, followed by a welcome session at 9:00 AM. Educational presentations will commence at 9:15 AM, starting with a discussion on armyworm control by Dr. James Villegas. Dr. Ed Tidwell will present on Bermudagrass varieties at 9:45 AM.
At 10:00 AM, Mr. Loyd Dodson and Mr. Kennon Gaspard will discuss sprigging Bermudagrass. A break is scheduled for 10:30 AM. Dr. Ron Strahan will deliver a herbicide update at 10:45 AM.
Lunch and vendor visits are scheduled for 11:30 AM. Afternoon activities will include equipment demonstrations from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. Participating companies include Arcusin, Case IH, John Deere, Kubota, McHale, Massey Ferguson, and Vermeer.
