In recognition of her commitment to her students and colleagues, Malea Geis, a special education teacher at Central Elementary School, was honored as the Employee of the Month during the Webster Parish School Board’s December 4 meeting.
The accolade was presented by Kevin Thompson of Taylor and Sons, who shared sentiments from Ms. Geis’ recommendation letter. Thompson read, “Ms. Geis is a dedicated and caring member of our staff. She never hesitates to help out when asked, including assisting her fellow teachers and the administration. Ms. Geis is a tireless advocate for her students. Her caring spirit and consideration for others are why I am recommending her for the Employee of the Month.”
The Webster Parish School Board applauds Ms. Geis for her service and congratulates her on this well-deserved honor.
