DOYLINE — Webster Parish Sheriff Gary Sexton said a 32-year-old Doyline man is looking at a domestic abuse battery charge for allegedly shoving and striking his wife Monday evening.

Sexton said deputies responding to a report of a domestic disturbance arrested Bruce A. Robinson II at his Roach Road residence just after 8:30 p.m.

“The victim told us she had been in an altercation with her husband, and that he grabbed and pushed her, then gave her a bloody nose,” Sexton said. “She told our deputies this was not the first time she had been abused.”

Sexton said the suspect was arrested and booked into the parish jail.
