by Minden Press-Herald

On May 31, at approximately 10:50 PM, an officer responded to the 100 block of Loop Road following a 911 call reporting arguing in the background. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the victim, the wife of David Biles, who stated that Biles, 37, hit her several times on their way home from Bossier City.

The officer observed a raised bump on the victim’s forehead. The couple’s five children were present in the vehicle during the incident. Three of the five children confirmed that Biles hit their mother. The victim expressed her desire to press charges against Biles for domestic abuse.

David Biles was advised of his rights per Miranda and arrested for domestic abuse with child endangerment. He was transported to Minden Police Department for booking and later transferred to Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center.

All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
