Funeral services for Margie Kirkland Haygood will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2, 2015 at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Minden with the Rev. Jim Crain officiating.
Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Margie was born Jan. 26, 1932 in Liberty, Mississippi and entered into rest Sept. 30, 2015 in Minden.
She was a retired cafeteria worker for Webster Parish Food Service.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Paul Dean Kirkland and Eddie Haygood.
She is survived by her sons, Leslie F. Kirkland and wife Katherine of Minden, Dale Kirkland and wife Terye of Minden, David G. Kirkland and wife Gayle of Longview, Texas, Roger N. Kirkland and wife Shelly of Minden; sisters, Nettie Jane Caston of Sorrento and Grady Ruth Jones of Gonzales; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
