Spring is right around the corner and the Piney Hills Louisiana Master Gardeners will soon host their annual garden tour, Trails & Trellises. The Green Thumb Jamboree was held in 2015 in lieu of the garden tour. This tour will make the tenth of its kind for the Piney Hills Louisiana Master Gardeners. Four gardens will be available to enjoy as well as a variety of vendors and the Master Gardeners’ annual Plant Sale. The date for the Trails & Trellises Garden Tour will be May 14 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
On the tour this year are the gardens of Lyn and Charles Stubbs and the gardens of Master Gardeners, Brenda Perryman and husband, Wayne and Betty and Steve Fowler. Included again this year is the Piney Hills Louisiana Master Gardener Teaching Garden located at the Webster Parish Extension Office. Vendors and the Plant Sale will also be held on the grounds of the Extension Office.
