Mayor Tommy Chandler is re-elected to second term as mayor of Bossier City without opposition

At the end of qualifying on January 31 at 4:30 PM, no candidate had come forward to challenge Mayor Tommy Chandler for the Office of Mayor of The City of Bossier City. Mayor Chandler said that he is “Thankful and humbled” for the opportunity to serve the Citizens of Bossier City for four more years.  Mayor Chandler said that he Loves Bossier City and serving as Mayor has been his “Greatest honor.” Mayor Chandler said that he is proud of the things that he has been able to accomplish during his first term as Mayor. Mayor Chandler said that though his first term was not without some challenges, he is proud that Bossier City remains safe and is viewed as a great place to move to by Citizens and Businesses alike. He said he looks forward to completing some projects from his first term and will continue to work to bring new Businesses and jobs in to our Community. To the Citizens of Bossier City Mayor Chandler says: Thank you and he looks forward to serving you for another term.
