Cassidy McKinney will be the Minden Lion’s Club speaker this Thursday.

McKinney is a 16 year-old junior at Minden High School. She is the daughter of Lee and Tori McKinney.
Cassidy excels academically and is an Honors student. At her school, she participates in Student Council, Ring Staff, Prom Committee, National Honor Society, First Priority, and is a Varsity Cheerleader. Her home church is the First Baptist Church of Minden.
Cassidy’s passion is serving others through community, school, and church activities. That passion has taken her on many mission trips throughout her life, her most recent being a trip to provide medical aid and the Gospel to the people of Nicaragua. Cassidy is very excited and grateful to have the opportunity to share her experiences in Nicaragua with the Minden Lions Club.
The Lions Club meets at noon every Thursday at the American Legion Hall on Pine Street.
