McMahen Running for State Rep

Dr. Wayne McMahen, Springhill native and veterinarian, publicly announced his candidacy for the state House of Representatives District 10 seat Wednesday morning on the steps of the Webster Parish Courthouse before several dozen supporters. Rep. Gene Reynolds stepped down from the seat to manage the state parks system. During the announcement, McMahen addressed his main platform topics, including rural health, community safety, natural resources, jobs, and cooperation in the legislature.
