The Minden Art Guild recently took a private tour of the Ford Museum in Homer. The museum boasts many exhibits showcasing the history of the area. The guild stopped to take a photo in the Maritzky Department Store exhibit. Jeanne Holt Mason painted the background painting. Mason, along with fellow guild member Larry Milford, painted many of the exhibits in the museum. The Minden Art Guild meets on the second and forth Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. at City Art Works located at 701 Main Street in downtown Minden. Meetings are open to any fellow artists.
