Each year during Christmas season, the Minden Civitans provide a Christmas party for the areas special needs men and women. At this years party, around 300 people enjoyed hotdogs, chips, cookies and fruit punch.
A dance followed with music being provided by local DJ and civitan “Rockin’ Rick” Blake.
Several had an opportunity to take a picture with Santa and tell him what they wanted for Christmas.
Candy bags were given to everyone as they left the party.
The Civitans had a great time hosting the party this year and giving a thrill to many area youth and adults.
