Downtown Minden was filled with Crimson Tide pride Friday, October 23, as Minden High School celebrated homecoming with a parade featuring generations of alumni, current students, marching bands, and school organizations.
The parade drew a large crowd of spectators who lined the streets to cheer on participants, wave to former classmates, and enjoy the festivities under clear blue skies and pleasant fall weather.
Alumni floats represented graduating classes dating back to 1956, with former students returning to celebrate their school and reconnect with friends.Â
Current Minden High School students also joined the procession with floats representing their classes and school organizations.
Music and performances added to the celebration as the Minden High School and Webster Junior High School marching bands made their way through downtown, accompanied by majorettes and dance lines.
With beautiful weather, enthusiastic participants, and a strong turnout from the community, the annual homecoming parade offered an opportunity for alumni, students, families, and friends to celebrate their shared connection to Minden High School.
