The Minden Crimson Tide basketball team was back on the hardcourt Tuesday night for a scrimmage with the Airline Vikings.
Score was not kept, but the Tide put on a good show for the modest crowd in attendance. Minden head coach Alan Shaw said he was pleased with the effort.
“I was pleased,” Shaw said. “We were undersized and lacking depth, but we did a good job containing them and I thought we shot the ball well. We have to do a better job blocking out, that’s crucial for us. Overall, I thought we played pretty well as a team.”
The Tide start their regular season Nov. 17 at Southwood.
Lady Tiders
