The Minden Mohawks 8U team went to Lafayette this past weekend to play in the Governor Games XXI Select 30 Super NIT and won the tournament. The Mohawks went 2-0 in pool play before running through the bracket undefeated with three straight wins. After winning 12-4 in the semifinals to advance to the championship, the Mohawks won the final game 13-5 to complete their five-game sweep of the tournament.
