Minden residents are invited to gather with their neighbors, city officials, and first responders Tuesday, September 22, for the city’s 2026 National Night Out.
National Night Out will be held from 6-8 PM at four registered locations across the city. The annual event is designed to strengthen relationships among residents and law enforcement while encouraging neighborhood involvement and crime prevention.
This year’s registered locations are Ewell Park, hosted by Buddy Myles; 205 Cox Lane, hosted by Janice Keener; Babb Park, hosted by Michael and Chequella Walker with District C Councilwoman Latasha Mitchell; and 187 Carey Lane, hosted by John and Candice Miller and the Beavercreek neighborhood.
Minden Coca-Cola has donated drinks for the events, and ADT, a national sponsor of National Night Out, will also be on site.
National Night Out is observed in communities across the country and encourages residents to spend an evening getting to know their neighbors and the first responders who serve their communities.
Residents are encouraged to visit one of the participating locations Tuesday evening and take part in the citywide effort to build stronger connections between neighbors and public safety personnel.
