Minden Police Department conducts warrant roundup

The Minden Police Department executed a series of arrests on March 27, apprehending individuals with outstanding warrants in the community.

Among those arrested were George Puffer, 57, residing in the 200 block of North Middle Landing in Minden. Puffer was located on Devereaux Street and taken into custody on warrants that included two counts of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance schedule I (synthetic marijuana) and distribution of a controlled dangerous substance schedule II (methamphetamines).

Decarrio Markray, 39, residing in the 200 block of Middle Landing, was also apprehended with a warrant for distribution of a controlled dangerous substance schedule I (synthetic marijuana).

Additionally, Charles Morris, 48, residing in the 200 block of North Middle Landing, was arrested with warrants for three counts of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance schedule I (synthetic marijuana).

All three individuals were taken into custody without any resistance and subsequently transported to the Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center.

The Minden Police Department continues its efforts to uphold the law and ensure the safety of the community through proactive enforcement actions.
