Minden Soccer drops eight goals on Huntington

Minden High School Crimson Tide Soccer hosted Huntington at the Pit on Monday, January 25th.  The Tide dominated the game, scoring 8 goals before time was out, causing the Mercy Rule to take effect to end the game.  Scoring for the Tide was Cameron Dauzat (Freshman), Josh Brown (Senior), Alec Simpson (Freshman), Riley Streetman – 2 (Junior), Conner Humphreys (Junior), and Tristen Murry (Senior).  Assist provided by Carter Barnett (Junior).The Crimson Tiders travel to Haughton on Thursday, the 28th and then host Northwood at the Pit on Tues. Feb 2nd at 6pm.  

Rescheduling due to a rainout game back on January 19th, The Crimson Tiders senior players will be recognized at 5:30 on Tuesday Feb. 2nd.  Soccer players from any Minden Recreational Team,  as well as, Webster Junior High Boys soccer team will be recognized at half time.  Performing at halftime will be the MHS Louisi-Annes. 

The Lady Tiders will have their senior recognition at their game Saturday, January 31st at 1:30pm at the Pit. The game against Northwood will begin at 2pm.  Community soccer players from both the Minden Recreation Center and Webster Junior High Girls will be recognized at half time.  

We encourage our community to come and support the Tide in their final season games.  $5 entry fee.  Minden Recreational Teams and Webster Junior High team members will get into the games for free when wearing their team jersey shirt.  Follow the soccer team on their FB page Minden High School Soccer.
