Minden to take on Northwood in homecoming match

by Minden Press-Herald

Minden Crimson Tide

The Minden Crimson Tide were excellent in a 42-7 beatdown of Huntington.

The win improved the Tide’s record to 6-3 on the season. With one game left in the regular season, Minden now turns their attention to a pivotal home date with the Northwood Falcons.

A win would most likely secure a home playoff game for the Crimson Tide.

Lakeside Warriors

It was a rough night last Friday for the Lakeside Warriors. Lakeside fell at home to previously winless North Caddo, dropping their season record to 3-6.

The Warriors will now look to finish their season strong as they travel to Campti for a tough match up with Lakeview High School.

Game time is set for 7 p.m. in Campti.

North Webster Knights

The North Webster Knights handled their business in Shreveport on Friday as they dismantled the Green Oaks offense in a 28-6 victory.

Now the Knights sit at 6-3 on the season and have a big game versus Booker T. Washington who is coming off a 68-8 loss to Evangel.

That game will be played on Friday night in Springhill.
