While Miss Minden Baylee Howell did not walk away with the crown and title of Miss Louisiana, she says it is an experience she will never forget.
Howell competed for the title of Miss Louisiana this past week with the culmination of the pageant Saturday.
“It has definitely been an exciting week for me,” Howell said last week. “It hasn’t all been easy, but definitely worth it. It is an experience I will never forget.”
She participated in several categories including on stage question, interview, talent, swimsuit and evening gown among others.
“Thank you, Baylee Howell, for doing such an amazing job of representing Minden and Webster Parish this week at Miss Louisiana,”
according to the Miss Minden Facebook page. The post shows several photos of Howell during the pageant.
April Nelson came away with the title of Miss Louisiana Saturday. Runners up, from fourth, included Eva Edinger, Holli Conway, Emily Randon and first runner up was Justine Kerr.
Howell will continue to serve her community for the rest of the year in her role as Miss Minden.
