Undercover narcotics operation ends with arrests
An undercover operation by the Minden Police Department Narcotics division led to the arrests of three Minden men, one of whom was already incarcerated.
On April 18, Police arrested Jacob Anderson, 25, of Middle Landing in Minden on two charges of Distribution of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance (Crystal Meth) and one charge of Distribution of a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance (Synthetic Marijuana.)
Anderson was arrested at his residence and later transferred to Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center (BDCC).
Each of the three warrants carries a $35,000 bond.
On the morning of April 19, DeCorey Maxie, 26, of Martin Luther King Drive in Minden, was arrested at the Magnolia Motel on Shreveport Road on a warrant for Distribution of False Representation of a Controlled Dangerous Substance.
After booking, Maxie was transferred to BDCC. His bond was set at $35,000.
Later that morning, Dominic Washington, 27, of Martin Luther King Drive in Minden was arrested while at BDCC on two counts of Distribution of a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance (Synthetic Marijuana.) Each of the counts carries a $35,000 bond.
Washington remains lodged at BDCC.
