Niki Hall Cunningham died peacefully on June 16, 2016 at her home in Princeton after complications from a recent surgery. Niki was born December 11, 1953 in Minden.
She is preceded in death by her husband “Bud” Cunningham, and her father, “Quin” Hall. Niki is survived by her daughter, Holli Vining and husband Tim of Minden; her son “Jake” Cunningham and girlfriend Skylar Vaughn of Princeton; her mother Kate Hall Carter of Minden; sister Lynn Hall Baldree and husband Danny of Minden; grandson Austin Vining and wife Allison of Gainesville, Florida; sisters-in-law Betty Ann Lomzenski and husband Stan, Linda Sue Holbrook and husband Frank, brother in law James Bruce Cunningham and wife Cindy, all of Haughton; her beloved Australian Shepherd, Bubba, who was her constant companion and friend; and numerous, much loved aunts, nieces and nephews. She also had many close friends that she counted as her family.
Niki had a huge heart and generous spirit. She gave of herself to anyone who needed help even when she didn’t have the means. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She donated her body to LSU Medical Center in hopes of making a difference in medical advancement for others. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 24 at her home at 125 Madden Lane in Princeton. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
