The Knights were down 2-0 in the top of the first inning, but in the bottom of the second Daniel Lewis dug in and blasted a two-run homer to tie the game. The Knights took their first lead when Blake Atchley started the third inning with a double. He came around to score off a base hit by Riley Orr.
Atchley would score again on a steal of home to make it a 4-2 Knights advantage in the fifth and Logan Vidrine finished his stellar night on the mound with a scoreless sixth and seventh inning to seal the win.
Vidrine went all seven innings, striking out 10 batters and allowing only five hits. At the plate, Lewis led the way with the two-run blast, followed by Orr who went 3-3 with three singles and a RBI. Atchley finished 2-3 with two doubles and Vidrine, Clay Mahaffey, Kade Garmany, Kyle Harbour and Patrick Modisette all added singles for the Knights.
