SPRINGHILL – The North Webster Narcotics Task Force arrested a Sarepta woman after she reportedly failed to hold up her end of a bargain with law enforcement.

Glenda Lenee Jones, 35, of the 700 block of Old Sarepta Church Road, was arrested for possession of Schedule II CDS (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $51,000.

According to reports, Jones was already incarcerated at the Springhill Police Department on traffic warrants when she was arrested on the above offenses.

Police say about a month ago, she told police she would help investigators in future cases after she was stopped on a traffic violation, but failed to do so. During that traffic stop, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were reportedly discovered inside her vehicle.

She was booked at police headquarters.
