The Louisiana Department of Insurance issued a Notice of Intent to Repeal Regulation 39, entitled “Statement of Actuarial Opinion.” Regulation 39 is being repealed as the guidance it provides is included in the NAIC Annual Statement Instructions, which La. R.S. 22:771 directs insurers to follow.
The Notice of Intent to Repeal Regulation 39 – Statement of Actuarial Opinion will be published in the Louisiana Register on July 20, 2024.
