Reports surfaced Monday that Minden’s L’Jarius Sneed had committed to Louisiana Tech and head coach Skip Holtz, but according to Sneed he is still weighing his options 24 hours away from National Signing Day.
“I’m not committed yet,” Sneed said over the phone Tuesday morning. “Tech is in the lead right now, but I’m still considering my top three schools and I will announce my decision Wednesday.”
Several media outlets began to report Sneed’s recruitment was over, but it seems the 6-foot, 185-pound senior still has some thinking to do.
Sneed’s top three schools consist of La. Tech, UL-Lafayette and Arkansas State.
Although Sneed says the decision isn’t final, admitting Tech is leading this close to the wire is an encouraging sign for the Bulldogs.
