Owen Miles Sunderland passed peacefully on January 4th, 2018 secondary to complications of trisomy 18. Owen came into this world too soon and was taken too soon. The exciting moments of pregnancy have turned to sorrow and heartfelt loss with the death of our baby boy. “Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leaves a memory no one can steal.” –Anonymous
Owen was the son of Jason and Jennifer Sunderland.
He is survived by his two sisters Brooklyn Skye and Annabel Rose. Although his sisters were never able to hold him or cuddle him they could not have loved him more.
He is celebrated by his paternal grandparents Lynn and Phyllis Sunderland; and maternal grandparents James and Marsha Croad, many aunts, uncles, cousins and so many dear friends.
A memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday, January 13th, 2018 at 10am at Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
Jason and Jennifer would like to thank Dr. Russell, Dr. Casey, and Sonyia Elder for their compassion and support through this very tough time. We will forever be grateful.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting stuffed animals that will be donated to CASA in Owen’s memory.
