My platform is to ensure that each child in Webster Parish receives good instruction and teaching. I feel that good instruction is needed regardless of a child’s racial, ethic or socioeconomic background. Good teaching that is engaging, relevant, multicultural, that appeals to a variety of modalities and learning styles that works well with all children. Unfortunately, there exist barriers that prevent poor and minority children from receiving good instruction. Many of these barriers are caused by educators’ attitudes and beliefs; others are a result of institutional practices.
Therefore, I am soliciting your support on November 3, 2026.
