Funeral services celebrating the life of Pearline Davis will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Whispering Pines Missionary Baptist Church in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Mike Wilkes and Rev. Micah Carter officiating. Interment will follow at Whispering Pines Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. The family will receive friends Friday, February 25, 2022, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Pearline was born January 18, 1928, in Erik, Oklahoma and entered into rest February 21, 2022, in Richardson, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack W. Davis.
She is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline Gills of Richardson, Texas and Johnnie Faye Holder and husband Jimmy of Minden; sons, Jack Davis, Jr. and wife Lisa of Minden and James W. Davis and wife Terri of Minden; sister, Pricilla McCanlies of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Rhonda Johnson, Jennifer Hernandez, Jason Gills, Cheryl Marcantel, Jaron Davis, Chasidy Willhelm, and Josh Davis, and a number of great-grandchildren.
