Pickup truck overturns on Hwy 79, driver injured

An Isuzu pickup truck flipped over on U.S. Hwy 79 near Louisiana Hwy 518 around 2 PM Tuesday, September 2 according to authorities.

The Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and provided roadside assistance while Louisiana State Police began investigating the crash. The driver was airlifted to a hospital in Shreveport for treatment.

Troop G officials confirmed the wreck was a single-vehicle crash. No additional details were released, and the crash remains under investigation.
