Minden Police Chief Steve Cropper says the cause of death of a man found in his van in the parking lot of Walmart Supercenter was due to a heart condition.
Chris Hunter, 47, was found Saturday by an employee of Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Hunter’s place of employment, the chief said.
“I have received information that he did have some heart issues,” Cropper said. “The cause of death was probably due to heart disease.”
Cropper says he has not yet received a written report on Hunter’s autopsy. Officials with the coroner’s office say it takes six to eight weeks for an official report.
