Project Reclaim, a Minden-based leadership academy, commenced its afterschool program on September 10 with a generous donation of school supplies and a community meal.
“We kicked off our program year by receiving a large donation of school supplies provided by United Way of Northwest Louisiana, and ended with a meal for nearly 60 youth and their parents provided by Big O’s,” said Executive Director Ron Anderson. “Thank you, Mr. Odom, for the great food and your generosity!”
Project Reclaim serves youth throughout Webster Parish, focusing on leadership training, academic achievement, and fostering healthy relationships. The program targets elementary through high school students, offering leadership and life skills development activities, as well as media training through TV production and editing. With the new program year underway, Project Reclaim continues to empower local youth to “reach for the stars” through hands-on activities and parental involvement.
