Graveside services for Rachel Patterson will be held Friday, January 8, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Gardens of Memory in Minden, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. Officiating will be Bro. Doug Greg.
Rachel was born October 3, 1926 in Minden, Louisiana and entered into rest January 6, 2021 in Arcadia, Louisiana. Rachel was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Minden, Louisiana and she volunteered at Meadowview Nursing Home in the beauty shop for 35 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband J.B. Patterson; daughter, Linda Kurta; brother, Thomas Alvin Elkins, and sister Annie Avis Norris.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Hodge of Minden, and several nieces and nephews.
