Wet weather is headed to Webster Parish this weekend. However, unlike the past two weeks, it should not be severe.
According to the National Weather Service in Shreveport, rain will begin late Saturday.
“Widespread 1 to 2+ inches of rain will be possible across much of the Ark-La-Tex Saturday and Saturday night, before the rains diminish Sunday,” the NWS said.
KSLA Meteorologist Jeff Castle said the rain will bring in lower-than-normal temperatures.
“Rain and storms look likely by Saturday night, but severe weather is not expected,” Castle said.
“Temperatures will run below normal for late April into early next week with highs in the 60s and low 70s.”
