Funeral services for Ralph S. Williams will be held Friday, Nov. 11, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden with the Rev. Brian Mercer officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Ralph was born Oct. 16, 1941 in Shreveport and entered into rest Nov. 9, 2016 in Shreveport. He served his country in the United States Army serving in Germany. He was a graduate from LA Tech in accounting. Ralph was a CPA with Shaffer, McCloud, McDaniel and Williams CPA Firm and later served as President of People’s Bank and Trust retiring after 20 years of service.
The family would like to acknowledge special things about the life of Ralph. First and foremost, he loved God. He was a true patriarch of today’s modern family, being an amazing father, husband, and grandfather. Ralph loved sports especially all things with his beloved Louisiana Tech. He was a fierce competitor with a humble heart and appreciated the fellowship with friends and family as the most important part. He was an avid golfer and loved all his friends at the Pine Hills Country Club. He will be missed by many, but will never be forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his sisters Joyce and Peggy and his brother J.D.
He is survived by his loving wife Diane E. Williams of Minden, son Todd Williams of Shreveport, daughter Tricia Temple of Bossier City, step-son Jim Norris and wife Kim of Shreveport, step daughter Lisa Willis and husband Dave of Atlanta, GA, grandchildren Colby Temple of Bossier City, Lily Norris of Bossier City, Max and Sadie Willis of Atlanta, Georgia, brother Wayne Williams of Oakwood, Texas and a number of nieces and nephews.
