RECORDING ARTIST JACKSON CULP RELEASES EP “THE LAGOON” AND MUSIC VIDEO

by Minden Press-Herald

Recording artist and Monroe, Louisiana native Jackson Culp releases his EP “The Lagoon” featuring the lead single and music video “I Think She’s Gonna Kill Me.”

This EP is a detour from Culp’s previous releases, as his other work – “Love Potion,” “Don’t Call My Name,” and “Carolina” – features a primarily blues-based, garage rock sound. Culp’s new release, however, features a heavy reliance on ghostly synths, bass, and ukulele. These instruments work together to fulfill Culp’s musical inquiry – what if two romantic partners traveled to a beautiful, tropical paradise but the partners actually hated each other? Jackson Culp wrote, performed, engineered, produced, mixed, and mastered the entire project at his studio in Monroe, Louisiana. The EP is available on all music services.
