The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development reminds motorists that beginning on Monday, July 8, 2024, LA 72 (Old Minden Road) in both directions in Bossier City at the I-20 interchange will be closed.
This closure is scheduled to last for approximately one week, and is necessary to allow for the relocation of city water lines and installation of a pipe related to the ongoing I-20 major rehabilitation project.
Access to local driveways and streets will be maintained during the road closure. Through traffic will need to utilize an alternate route.

Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure at the specified location. All vehicles traveling through on Old Minden Road will need to detour.
Alternate Route: Detour signage will be in place.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
