United Way of Northwest Louisiana hosted a block party on National Night Out. Minden police were on hand mingling with community members and playing games as children played games and had fun in the bounce houses. Churches, nonprofit organizations and businesses came together in celebration of National Night Out. A total of nine parties took place in Minden Tuesday evening.
