Funeral services for Richard Carlton (Rick) Branch will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden. Interment will follow at Minden Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until service time.

Rick was born Sept. 21, 1956, in Minden, and entered into rest July 30, 2016, in Shreveport.

He graduated from Minden High School with the class of 1975. He grew up in Lakeview Methodist Church in Minden, and was presently attending First Baptist Bossier City. He worked in insurance and computer technology. He loved LSU sports and rarely missed an Independence Bowl. He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife Donna Branch of Shreveport, mother Jeanne Branch of Minden; daughters Lauren Branch Watkins and husband Matthew of Minden, Amy Branch Abney and husband Ray of New Orleans; stepchildren Anna Crenshaw and husband Brady of Shreveport, and Morgan Hinds of Haughton; brothers Tenney Branch and wife Debbie of Minden, Bill Branch and wife Suzanne of Pineville; grandchildren Hayden, Cooper, and Taylor Watkins, Graecyn and Drayden Abney, Ezra and Naomi Crenshaw, Justin and Paige Hinds.

Pallbearers will be Webb Sentell, Allen Moore, David Maxey, Joe Toland, Roy Lilly, Lewis Coker, Lamar Rentz and Randy Rentz.
