Sandra Cheshire Roden was born on October 2, 1941, and entered into rest January 12, 2024, Doyline, Louisiana. Sandra and her family lived in Doyline from when she was in the fourth grade and until she graduated.
She met the love of her life, Wilber Roden, and they married in 1960 and lived in Minden. Sandra worked for the Webster Parish school system driving a school bus for 25 years.
She was a very loving mother to their 4 children and loved all her grandchildren; was like a second mother to Brittian. Thanks to her best friend, Mary Gordon, for her help over the last few years.
Sandra was preceded in death by her mother, Lamerle Roden, and brother Ed Cheshire and her husband, Wilber R. Roden.
She is survived by children Ray Roden, Rhenee Pearson (Lane), James “Cosmo” (Kelly), & Allison Rice (Timmy); grandchildren Michael & Scott Pearson, Brittian, Hayden & Summer Roden, Cameron & Cori Rice, Blake & Lindey, Shane Thurman & Jessica; great grandchildren Cash & Cutter Roden, Blakely & Keeley Roden, Hayslee & Matthew Roden, Hayden Zachary, Brently, Maverick & Hadlee, Mason, Sebastion, Ava & Autumn, Zoie, Zachary & Asher Pearson.
