SECRETARY ARDOIN ISSUES STATEMENT REGARDING ELECTION OF NANCY LANDRY AS SECRETARY OF STATE

by Minden Press-Herald

BATON ROUGE, La. — Louisiana Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin issued the following statement regarding the election of Nancy Landry as Secretary of State:

“I am proud to congratulate Nancy on her election as Louisiana’s 45th Secretary of State. Her experience as First Assistant Secretary of State will prove to be invaluable as she steps into the role of our state’s chief election officer. I am particularly proud to note that she will bear the distinction of being the first woman in our state’s history elected to the office of Secretary of State. It has been a privilege to work alongside her for the past four years. I wish her the best of luck as she takes on this critical role, and I trust that our elections will remain in good hands.”
