A ribbon cutting ceremony was held for SelectDrive, a pre-owned car dealership located at 1078 State Route 531.
SelectDrive offers a range of used vehicles, from daily drivers to luxury models, with a focus on competitive pricing and customer service. The dealership also provides an online showroom featuring detailed vehicle information, photos, and contact options.
The dealership is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 3 PM.
The Greater Minden Chamber welcomed the business to the community during the ceremony.
Mayor Nick Cox offered remarks, saying, “We’re really proud of you, and we’re so glad you’re in town.”
Owner Jared Miller said his decision to open the dealership in Minden was personal.
“When this opportunity presented itself to me, I had the option to go anywhere I wanted, and I chose to come to Minden because this is my hometown. These roads, these people, the Friday night lights at the pit … this is where I came from. This community raised me and shaped me, and I just want to be here to give back to my community and help out any way possible,” Miller said.
SelectDrive will also host a community event beginning April 11. The “Forgotten Egg Easter Hunt” will feature four hidden eggs, each worth $100, with winners keeping the cash while a matching donation is made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in their name.
The event will conclude April 12 with a $2,000 “Golden Egg” prize, with additional details and clues to be posted on the business’s Facebook page.
