Shake Those Pounds 2 Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

by Will Phillips

Local entrepreneurs Bob Gray and Lindsey Tanner opened up Shake those Pounds 2, 12 years after setting up shop in their first location in Downtown Minden. The new location can be found at 211 Madlo Lane, right next to Anytime Fitness along Homer Road. Gray had this to say moments before the official ribbon cutting ceremony.

“We appreciate y’all coming out today. Twelve years ago we had a vision. We believed in Herbalife, the products, the value of good nutrition, and what an impact we could make on the community, but we didn’t know. So we opened up, and through hard work, in six months we were really rocking it out. The community just poured into us. It’s been a tremendous ride.
When this opportunity came up to move over to this side of town, it was a no brainer. The city has just been tremendous for the past twelve years to work with. We appreciate all your support. Come see us here as well as downtown. We know we’re going to have a long prosperous future here,” said Gray
