Funeral services for Sharon Edwards Schonfarber will be held Sunday, January 21, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Rose Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Bro. Lynn Malone officiating. Interment will follow at Bistineau Cemetery in Heflin, Louisiana. The family will receive friends at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Rose Neath prior to the service time.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Seward and Helen Thomas, son, Jody Edwards, and first husband Johnny Glen Edwards.
Sharon was born April 10, 1939, in Ringgold, Louisiana and entered into rest January 18, 2024, in Minden, Louisiana.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Ben Schonfarber; daughters, Nancy Collins (Tim) of Heflin and Janet Jones (Stacy) of Texas; son, Ben Schonfarber, Jr. of Jamestown; daughter-in-law, Denise Edwards of Minden; sister, Nancy Youngblood of Minden; sister-in-law, Clarice Madden of Minden; brother-in-law, T.K. Schonfarber of North Carolina, nine grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mike Collins, Tommy Madden, Rhett Edwards, Landon Kennington, James Harrington, and Stan Barnett.
