Experience history with ‘Downtown Tells’ by Robert E Trudeau and unleash your creativity with ‘Sketch  the City’ with Mischa Farrell, all while exploring art by local artists in downtown Shreveport

It’s July Artwalk Time! The Downtown Shreveport Artwalk is Wednesday, July 10th, 5pm – 8  pm. The July Artwalk has something for everyone and it’s free…it is the Downtown  Development Authority’s gift to the community. This Artwalk will highlight the 400-block area of  Texas and Marshall Streets and will celebrate unique venues while featuring local artistry, live  demonstrations, and special events. Come stroll the street, visit participating venues, meet local  artists, purchase some fabulous art, hear live music, and enjoy some special menu items.  Robert Trudeau will be hosting the new Downtown Tells event at Huddie Ledbetter’s statue. “As  a Huddie Ledbetter demonstrator, I will encourage audience participation in shuffle dance and  hand percussion as well as sing-along (or chant-along).” says Robert E Trudeau. You can’t miss  that, right? Sketch the City is back with Mischa Farrell.
